June 30th

After finally sleeping in today, I went through all the bags of stuff I brought home.  This is taking up 3/4 of my queen sized bed!  My husband should be happy.  I brought him home a new wardrobe of t-shirts and got my kids the flash drives they need for next year.

June 29th

Today I walked around the exhibitor hall and talked to companies I have in my school.  I found some great free resources also.  It was fun running into booths like these.  It's a shame I missed Curious George.

June 28th

We went to the party hosted by Gaggle.net .   They had a Lady GaGa impersonator there.  He looked more like Twisted Sister!  They also had a photo booth set up.  We had a ball.

June 27th

At the conference I met up with a few friends from Fablevision.  Peter and Paul Reynolds, the founders and owners of the company, are the nicest guys you can ever meet.  I met up with them and their crew at the lounge, where we talked.  It was just great to see them again.

June 26th

We took Traci to her first soccer game.  She wasn't feeling well at first but felt better after the intermission.  We went up to the Capt. Morgan's Deck to get a better view of the game.  The Union won 3-1 against Chivas!!

June 25th

Today we celebrated DEN's 6th anniversary at SLA. Mark and I did a green screen session that turned out great.

June 24th

Today I was down at the Convention Center stuffing bags for the ISTE Conference. There were 22 tables set up with 500 bags to stuff. Yes folks! That makes 11,000 bags!

June 23rd

Giving a big cheesy smile last night at the retirement dinner.  It was a great time.  I am surprised our new principal didn't run out of the place screaming at how crazy we were. I guess that's a good sign.

A toast, at the retirement dinner, to Linda, Esther, Bob, Harvey and Denise!  We will miss you dearly!

June 21st

Last day of school!!! I have so much stuff stored that I can't fit anything else. I guess the mice will have to find a different hiding place.

This was the cake Jonathan ordered for dessert.  We think it was larger than him or weighed more than him.

Happy father's day to my hubby and to all the other dads out there.  This is a picture of my father and I.  This is the only picture that I could find in my albums.  I will have to raid my mom's pictures to find a better one.

June 18th

It is my mom's 75th birthday, so the kids and I got her back for the 40 pigs on my lawn 2 years ago.  We went to Acme and bought her roses and cards.  The kids decorated a big cookie that we brought to the pool.  The kids and I took 150 happy birthday papers and taped them all over her apartment.  We then took her to PF Changs for dinner.

June 16th

Graduation Day for my 8th graders!  Joella, Abby and Laura are my only students that maintained an A all year.  I am so proud of all the award metals they received today.  I wish them all the best in high school and beyond.  I just wish I looked better in this picture.

We have to cone Saki when we go out because she still scratches her face.  James took this picture of her and wrote, "Go ahead and try to take my bone. I dare ya! GRRRR"

June 14th

I went out to dinner with my mom and cousins Bonnie, Steven (& wife Ellen). I haven't seen Steven in years! They live in Australia. It was so nice to see them.

Went up to the mall today. I couldn't resist this. My hubby is hooked on this game. Believe it or not I have never played Angry Birds.

Even though I just got my new iPad 2 yesterday, I was too tired to play with it.  I played today.  I am loving it!!

June 10th

Memorial Day weekend I started reading Wicked.  I haven't been able to read anymore of the book until tonight.  It was nice to just sit and read.

July 9th

Today we got out early again because of the heat.  I went to the hair dresser early and got a new do.  I am loving it.  It's a very easy summer style.

July 8th

Today we got out early from school because of the heat. I have air conditioning in my classroom, but the hallway was like a sauna.  I crammed so many kids into my lab to get them out of the heat.  When I got to my car this is the temperature that was registering.

June 7th

Tonight was the last night of Girl Scouts. One of the parents bought me a Dunkin Donuts cup and gift card.  I love DD!  I am going to miss my girls as this year is my last as a Brownie leader.

I'm finally finished my school's yearbook.  I love Mixbook. It's the only company that lets me create a 30 page soft book for under $20.  They also give discounts the more you order.

June 5th

After brushing our dog there was enough fur to make a few sweaters for chihuahuas. My husband decided to take of the excess hair with the vacuum. Saki was fine and just didn't like the noise.

June 4th

Decided to plant my garden today. The twins helped me pick out flowers.

June 3rd

Last night was our Fly Ups for scouts. It was supposed to be on Wednesday but we had a tornado warning. My daughter bridged to juniors and was one of the top cookie sellers.

June 2nd

Went with the twins to the zoo. James and I were both chaperones. It was a beautiful day.

June 1st

Last night was our last GS meeting where we did a craft. We finished a try-it. We decorated little tote purses. The girls had a ball and were very creative.
