We went to PF Changs for James's birthday dinner. These were two of the fortunes.

Finally at home, but had a great time visiting my mother-in-law. It's nice to have a home cooked meal every once in a while.

Saki was very happy with her Christmas gifts.  Santa brought her lots of toys to play with.

December 27th

We were snowed in and without all of our snow gear to play outside. What else was there to do???

This is what we woke up to today. We wound up with 12 inches of snow in Maryland.

Happy Birthday to my hubby! Mark, the kids and I went up to the mall to surprise him. We met him at the food court and brought him an ice cream cake. He was very happy.

December 21st

We had our pajama party at scouts tonight. We made home made night lights with a cd, tealight holder, glitter glue and stickers. Brianna hot glued the tealight holder to the cd then we put a flameless tealight in the holder.

Brianna had to come up with an animal mixed with a machine for extra credit. She came up with the elecrane.

December 18th

Took the Girlscouts rock climbing at the Doylestown Rock Gym. It was fun to watch the girls climbing and over coming their fear of heights. I even climbed.

December 17th

We had belt testing tonight. Each of my kids moved up in rank and I am so proud of them. I even moved up and tested with all the guys! I am a green belt!

December 16th

We went to see the Nutcracker. Brianna was an Arabian dancer. My neighbor was the Nutcracker. The kids did a great job.

December 15th

The Science teacher is creating a periodic table in the hallway. She asked if the kids could create a page on the computer.  I followed her rubric and created this in PowerPoint.  I can't wait until the kids are done.

Tonight was Girl Scout Investiture. The girls did a great job.

The penguins are up.  I just hope they don't blow away in the wind.  The posts are hard to put into the ground.  Now it's officially "the season".

The sixth graders were studying the solar system and had to draw the poster as if they were standing on the moon looking into the universe.

The second graders made snowflakes and snowmen.  They had them hanging in the hall.  Bring on the snow! (as long as I get a day off from work :)

The third grade was working on volcanoes in science class.  This is one sample the teacher had the kids create with clay.

The tree is up and decorated.  The kids did a great job.  Next year I will get blinking lights for the tree.

Along with animals and things, they also learned how to make beads with clay. They made lots and lots of beads!

I was going to post a picture of the family, but forgot to take a picture! OOPS! Thanks Uncle Allyn and Aunt Evie, the food was great!

November 24th

Went up to Dana's last night to bake some pies for Thanksgiving. I made a pumpkin pie, coconut custard pie and chocolate cream pie. They smelled yummy and tasted even better!

November 22nd

Took the kids to see Santa. The trick is to go before Thanksgiving to avoid the lines. We were in and out in 10 minutes.

We went up to Dana's house to see the Hatboro Parade.

Brianna and Katerina had to make banana bread for school. We got everything ready to bake only to find that my oven didn't work. Thanks to Mark and his oven, we got it cooked and the girls got an "A" on their project.

Nature sculpures created by Kindergarten students.  They had so much fun doing these.

The third graders created fantasy birds in art class.  They just brighten up the hallway.

I had my 1st grade class write letters using Stationary Studio.
