My oldest created this butterfly in art class a year ago. We had it framed and it's hanging up in our home. We call it the butterfly pizza (4 pieces of pepperoni and a green pepper for the body).
This is Frosty the miniature husky puppy. She is looking for a home because her owner is moving and can't take her with. I would love to take her but I am afraid that Saki would hurt her.
My youngest decided to do this arts & crafts project. We argued over the directions for a few minutes and then I realized that I had to explain to her what a covered wagon was.
Look...rainbow poodles!!! I forgot I had this picture and just found it. When we rode the ducks I snapped this picture. Why would anybody want to do this to their dogs??
Well, it's the last day of school and this is what I walked into today. No! I didn't walk into the window...silly....this is what I saw when I came in. How disturbing that kids can destroy a good thing for the community!
Happy Father's Day to my hubby and all the other dads out there. I spent the afternoon and evening in Trenton with my gals. We were in the front row, rockin' the rail with Daughtry, Lifehouse and Cavo! Wow! What a night!
Went to Sahara Sam's with the Girl Scouts. We had a blast. The girls and I came home with airbrushed tatoos. This is the closest I'll get to a real one!
I went to the retirement dinner of E. Davis last night. He has been teaching for 36 years! What a good soul. He truly cares about the 1000's of students he taught. It's a happy day for him, but a sad day for the rest of us who know what a loss to the teaching world it will be not to have him.
The girl scouts and their families took a tour through the city on "Ride The Ducks". It was raining and thundering when we started but the storm passed in time for us to take a cruise down the Delaware River. Good times had by all. I need some Tylenol from all the quacking!! OYE!
Congratulations to my nephew, Craig, who just graduated from High School! Congratulations to my cousin, Robin, who is now entering High School! Getting eaten by mosquitoes aside, the graduation parties were a good time.
Well tonight was our Girl Scout fly-ups. My one daughter just flew up to Cadets. I have one more year to go in scouting before I hang up my leader hat. I said that I would wait until my youngest daughter flew up to Juniors.
My niece sent this picture to me and all I could do is laugh. This is my nephew, the ham. It's a shame the background isn't a more authentic Mexican backdrop.
My son slept over a friends house and winds up cutting his head open. Had to take him to Abington for 2 staples. He did really well and is fine now. Talk about panic!
I had a purse party tonight. This is the new Coach bag I got. I am not used to big bags but I like this one. I also found a bracelet and necklace too, not to mention new sunglasses. It was a good time! Thanks to all who came!
Today was the 3rd staff development in technology. My previous workshops were on Microsoft Office and programs we have on the computers at work (Garageband, Comic Life, Photobooth, Kidspiration/Inspiration). Today I did digital storytelling. The teachers learned about Glogster, Blabberize and Voicethread. We had lots of laughs.
As I was going to an arts and crafts store, my car hit this pot hole. It was so deep that my car shook and almost gave me whiplash. I guess our tax dollars don't include shopping mall parking lots, eh?
I am a computer teacher, STAR Discovery teacher and Keystone Technology Integrator for the state of PA. Although I have been teaching for 17 years, I have taught computers for the last 10 years.
