February 28th

Here is my way of ending Black History Month. The pictures were created by some of the first and second graders. I think they came out amazing!

February 27th

Rachel, Mark and I took Saki and Dawkins for a 2.5 mile walk today.  It was nice to see buds on the vegetation and the ducks in the water.  Dawkins paused for a minute so I could get a picture.

February 26th

Despite my family, I am very proud of my daughter's accomplishments today. Congrats to Brianna!  I love you!

February 25th

This was the message in my chocolate today.  I love the messages I get.

February 24th

It was so nice to see the oven finally working!  I was able to make crescent rolls to go along with the spaghetti and meatballs we were eating for dinner.

February 23rd

No, ladies and gentlemen that is NOT snow on my lawn... That is dog hair. The hubby washed the dog and the kids and I brushed her. I think we took out a few small dogs.

February 22nd

I am so excited that my green screen came in! I can't wait to use it!

February 21st

After doing so many cookie booths my daughter gets a little silly. Need I say more??

February 20th

My husband came into the house with a pile of snow in his hand. When I asked why he brought it in he told me that it was the last patch of snow in our yard. Could it be possible that spring is finally coming??

February 19th

On the way home from basketball we passed this sign. My kids and I are counting down the days. I am so happy that they are opening early.

February 18th

Today Traci became a cougar! We celebrated in the IMC this morning and had cake for breakfast. Some of her students sang happy birthday over the PA system. Pink signs were posted all over the building.

February 17th

Went to the surgeon today to have my elbow checked out. The doctor said that he had to give me a Cortazone shot first before thinking about operating. I had to lay down, turn my head and pray that I wouldn't pass out. When all was said and done I was eating a lollipop and feeling light headed. My entire arm hurts! :(

Ferbruary 16th

I am very proud of my two friends Mark and Brandon who won PAECT Awards last night at the banquet during PETE & C. It couldn't have happen to two better people.

February 15th

Make new friends, but keep the old... Here I am with Traci (aka Glogster Girl) plus Deena & Leo from Glogster. It was great talking to the "glog" folks!

February 14th

Happy Valentine's Day to all!  I was walking around the poster session at Pete&C and this one caught my eye. The poster session is where teachers get to show off something they do in their class. My friend Jason told me that he lies to his students once a day. The students have to catch him lying. The point of the lesson is to teach the kids validation. He takes them to websites to teach them how tell if a site is telling the truth. What a great concept! It didn't help that every time I saw him I called him a liar.  He knows I adore him though.  :)

February 13th

Finished the DEN pre-conference. My presentation still isn't ready for me tomorrow. I am getting nervous!

February 12th

Finally in Hershey! At Champ's house for his pre-conference birthday bash. This is what he had posted on the door. Love it!

February 11th

After the karate event, I took Jon's friend home. This was on his counter. His mom said it was over 10 years old. All I could think of was....
C is for cookie, it's good enough for me.

February 10th

I stopped by a store today to get some things and this caught my eye. Are they trying to compete with Samoas/Caramel Delights? Are these cookies around all year or only during cookie selling time?

My daughter took pics of her drawings on my phone to send to my niece. I decided to use them as my post today because I thought she did a good job.

I'd like to find this vending machine. Don't think I'd have enough change.

February 7th

Because I will be away for Valentine's Day, James decided to give me my present early. It's a painted gold dipped rose. Of course purple is my favorite color! What a thing of beauty.

February 6th

Sitting doing a cookie booth when the girls asked why the girl is in a cow costume. We told them that she lost the bet. They didn't get it but we laughed. This girl told me she volunteered to wear the cow costume but asked for a chicken costume first. She is giving taste tests of roast beef. She calls it, because of her costume, "silence of the cows".

February 5th

Went to Dana's starter demo for Partylight. She did great for her first show and could use some more bookings. I hope she gets them.

Fun with Photobooth!  Here is Jonathan being the clown that he is.  Rachel discovered the falling snow flakes.  She is just flaky! They found the extra effects that I have on my computer.

On the way to Kenpo the kids and I saw this snow fort. We pulled over on the way home to take this picture.

I was driving down the street when I saw this Girl Scout cookie billboard. It made me want to go into my trunk and eat some cookies.

My kids got this toy at a party. They threw it up and it stuck to the ceiling. It's been there for a week now. Talk about super sticky! We want to see how long it sticks.
