July 30th

Went to get homemade ice cream and found a butterfly wing on the ground. The colors were so vibrant that I had to take a picture of it.

July 29th

Spent the night at Kim and Steve's house. Their cat goes crazy over the laser pointer.

July 28th

Just took her for a run at my mom's house. She got to run around and explore. She was so tired that she just laid there, shotgun, and put her head out the window.

July 27th

This is the new spin type thing that the kids jump on. I guess the net is to hold them on the ride. Not like when I was a kid. I guess too many kids got hurt on the roundabout ride, but that was the fun part.

July 23rd

Well we had to say goodbye to room 105 at Bentley University. It is so depressing when a great week has to come to an end. Although I was up late every night, I had a blast getting to know the many great teachers I met. The 200+ steps a day was not as bad as I thought it would be.

July 22nd

It was Hollywood Night with Discovery and we had to dress as our favorite character from our favorite movie. Tally and I were dressed as Molly Ringwald and Ally Sheedy from Breakfast Club.

July 21st

You can't make a stop in Boston without going to the only place where everybody knows your name. This was the fake one in Quincy Market. We went here on Saturday night and went to the real one Monday afternoon.

July 20th

During our tour yesterday around Boston we stopped at Fenway Park. This statue is called, "Teammates". That is what we feel we are with Discovery.

July 19th

We went to Fablevision on part of our tour of Boston. It was so nice to see Peter Reynolds again. Thank you Lance and the Discovery Network for setting this up and giving us Peter's new book, "So Few Of Me".

Walking around the northern part of Boston in their "little Italy" when I came across a few doors that I was taller than. Just call me, "Alice".

July 17th

This was an exit sign on the way to Boston. Everyone in the car started to laugh because all we saw was, "Willing to 69".

July 16th

This is the first time I have seen 2 of my kids sharing a space where they are not fighting. Of course this isn't our house! I thought this was such a cute picture from our mini vacation.

The sign says, "Do Not Enter" but it is the only entrance into the parking lot.....

Before I left for Boston I had to do my part for our neighborhood block party. I was in charge of doing raffles. I created 11 different baskets to raffle off.

Happy Anniversary to my husband and I! We just made it to year 13. James called Mark when I was in MD with the kids and planned to take me to dinner. I had a few of these watermelon martinis at dinner. Yummy!

The weather man said it was going to be hot today, but he didn't say it would be this hot!

Thanks to the Bertino family for the great day on Assateague. We all loved the boat ride and swimming in the bay. The hot dogs were great too!

It was raining in MD, so we took the kids to see "Dispicable Me". What a great movie!

Went to visit Aunt Keo, as my kids call my friend, Kim. In Delaware they have a cake company called, Bimbo. I had to get a picture of the bimbo with the bimbo cakes......lol

Yes, folks.....the flowers are fake. They look good though. Why do I have fake flowers? We need to rip up the garden to fix a leak.

Picked my daughter up from basketball and noticed that they put a new sprinkler up at the rec center. So much better then the one they had.

Happy Independence Day America!!! Well we didn't have the "normal" July 4th dinner of barbeque. My uncle cooked crabs for us. They were mighty tasty! The kids thought it was neat when Uncle Al picked up the live crabs.

July 3rd

The kids on the Tilt-A-Whirl from yesterday's carnival. They were laughing the whole ride.

July 2nd

Went with the family and friends to Wissahickon High School for their carnival and fireworks display. We always see fireworks before the 4th. Here is a taste of the fireworks we saw:
