Brianna & Jonathan went to the Philadelphia Union game with James and Mark. They had a great time.

April 29th

The first graders did sunflowers inspired by Vincent VanGogh. I really liked the way this one looked. I was very impressed with how great they all turned out.

The Kindergarteners created Japanese landscapes. This one caught my eye.

April 27th

This is the hallway that the kids go through to get to the lunchroom and yard. Thanks to the younger students it is decorated with work. I hope the kids don't tear it down.

My computer lab was hot today and the air conditioner wasn't turned on.

It was so beautiful today. All I could think of was yesterday's trip to the beach.

Happy Easter to all!  The bunny arrived!  No jelly beans though...the thought of eating bunny poo after seeing the movie HOP just turned us off to them...LOL

Saki took interest in baby Christopher.  He thought she was funny. Saki kept licking his hands and cheeks.

Happy birthday to my oldest. She had a karate party and got to cut her cake with a samurai sword. At the rate she is going, she will have her black belt before me!

Took the kids to get haircuts. I let Brianna get streaks.

April 19th

I cracked a few eggs yesterday to make my kids French toast for breakfast. When I looked in the bowl to wisk the eggs, it was smiling back at me. That was too freaky, but breakfast was yummy!

April 18th

Happy Passover to all! My mom and I cooked. Everything was delicious!

April 17th

Took the kids to the park. My little monkey found a tree to climb. I was so nervous that he was going to fall. He continued to climb all over with his friends.

April 16th

Went to "Healthy Kids Day" at the YMCA. We met the Janoffs there and had fun walking around.

April 15th

Today we did the "big jump". We actually registered seismic activity on the computer.

April 14th

We had an assembly today with Ms. Washington's brother. It was a bullying assembly and was different. He talked about the climate of the school and how the students can change it to make it a more positive environment. He also helped the students understand that the teachers are not the problem in the building, it's the way the kids treat each other. It was refreshing!

April 13th

This was part of the crew from Greenberg.  They were in a workshop and spotted the cupcakes two of the mom's brought them.  They had a ball being at the fair.

April 12th

I took an observation day and went to the Middle School Computer Fair. There were so many great projects there. This one was one of my favorites for the logo contest. The only problem is that it must adhere to the 3x3 rule which it did not. It looks awesome though.

April 11th

Yesterday, after the PAECT meeting, my daughter and husband talked Mark into making chili. I was able to assist (and clean up). It was yummy!

April 10th

Mark and I went to Jo Jo's Java Joint in Ambler where we had a PAECT meet and greet.  The president and vice president were in attendance there.  I learned some new stuff and got to share my projects using Glogster EDU.  The food was incredible!

April 9th

Today we took a ride to Shoprite. They were having pony rides and face painting. They had some blow up stuff there too.

April 8th

Maybe there is hope for my kids yet. We went out into the rainy night and Rachel put her arm around Jonathan as he shared his umbrella with her. There was no fighting involved and no one asked him to do it. This was truly a moment that made my heart smile.

April 7th

Counterstrike just put up a billboard! Yes! On the bottom right is Gavin throwing a perfect kick! My kids are so proud of him. It's like we have a celebrity in the neighborhood.

The twins asked if they can go outside and chalk. I guess they didn't like the color of our side steps.

April 5th

This is what I came back to after being out of work, sick, for two days. It seems that a student dropped a laptop on top of another cracking the screen. I am so upset. These computers are not even a year old yet and with the budget cuts we have no money to fix it.

April 3rd

Took the dog out for a walk and my husband brought a kite to fly with the kids.  There was a nice breeze and the kite had no problems getting up into the air.  It was controlling it that was the problem.

April 2nd

Today was the karaoke party for my twins.  I  had 25 screaming 9 - 11 year olds in my house along with a DJ who projected the words on my wall.  I now have proof that my twins can do something together without fighting!

April 1st

I know that it's April Fool's Day.  I have been sick all day in bed and it was snowing this morning.  Since I wasn't feeling well I started to drink lots of water.  My husband brought home these Mio Liquids in many different flavors.  They are delicious.  I have tried all of these flavors and the sweet tea is my favorite.
